Help, I am behind on my Mortgage....a call for help from sellers

Here are the facts to help you, a homeowner in danger of foreclosure, do something to help yourself before it is too late.

A lender sends a letter to a homeowner with a notice of possible foreclosure when a payment is missed or is substantially late.

Did you know that if an owner misses 2 payments, there is a 90% chance of going into foreclosure within the next 6 to 8 months.  Of the owners who miss 2 payments or more, 70% of them DO NOTHING!
They worry, they wail.....but they DO NOTHING!

They do not even explore their options!  This is so unfortunate. If they will just step back and call a REALTOR, they can find out that they have a few options.  The most important option is to choose the one that is realistic for the situation that the owner finds himself in.

No owner wants to lose him home to FORECLOSURE!
As much as they may hate to admit it...............they are just not going to be able to make up the payments and get themselves current.  The worst option is to DO NOTHING!

I meet with many sellers each month who are having this problem....when I explain the downside of foreclosure, they can usually see that deciding to move forward with the Short Sale process makes a lot of sense....and it will SAVE THEIR CREDIT down the road.
It is not without stresses to enter into the process of a Short Sale....but with expert guidance, this can be the choice that will transform the sellers life, keep another home from the auction steps, and ultimately cause the real estate market to become stable once more.
