Great Buy on a Fort Worth Condo in The Tower...........

500 Throckmorton...a great place to live!

If you lived in Fort Worth 12 years ago.....you probably remember the big tornado that struck in downtown Fort Worth.

The damage was immense and many of the taller buildings suffered a lot of glass breakage.  500 Throckmorton was a bank building, had a great restaurant on the top (Reata), and had been one of the first skyscraper buildings in downtown.  Since it was one of the older buildings, it had asbestos insulation and with the sustained damage, the owners truly had a problem.  The building sat vacant for several years while developers thought about how to best solve the problem.  At some point, a condomenium group purchased the building and remediated the asbestos issue..........and turned it into one of the most covered condo addresses in the area.
The entry area in the round....pathway to the elevators.
With 30 floors, the views from 500 Throck...are wonderful.  In any direction you can see 30 to 35 miles on a clear day, and the evenings are filled with the lights and activities of downtown Fort Worth.

The rooftop has a nice pool and spa...picnic and grilling areas, and also even has a little grassy knoll for small pets to be given some outdoor time.  Each condo has it's own flavor depending on the individual preference of the owners.  The one bedroom units have a large bedroom, large living area and nicely arranged kitchens.  All of the appliances and amenities are top of the line.

I have a one bedroom unit with a study (could be small bedroom or....) Beautiful NW view and it has 2 deeded covered parking spaces.  This unit has just under 1000 sq. ft.  Is on the "quiet" side of the buiding and has a customized California Closet in the master bedroom.

The kitchen has lovely wood cabinets and
granite counters.

With lovely views from the insulated windows, you are never too warm or too cold no matter what the outside temporature may be.

The complex has a fitness center, a business center, and a entertainment "party room" that may be reserved.  You are in walking distance of anything downtown.............eateries, shopping, your office, the convention center, movies, Bass Hall..........and endless other choices.

This unit is a barely lived in example of a great buy for a great location

Please consider taking a look ....just contact me to see this well priced condo in downtown.

Currently offered at $225000
